Flotation Aids

From fatty acids and sulfonates to alcohol and aromatic bottoms, Flotation aids come from a variety of chemistries.

Common to the ore mining industry, these products are used in systems that require a flocculent to remove small impurities. Often, a liquid diluent transports the ores from mining to processing locations. Flotation aids are used during the frothing and skimming processes, allowing better separation of fine contaminates.

ICG offers each type of flotation aid: fatty acid (ICS-819-FA), sulfonate (ICS-829-FA) and alcohol (ICS-848-BB).
